The Castle on the Hill

Edinburgh Castle dominates the view from all over the city. It is a working castle with at least a 100 soldiers stationed there and the governor's house is still a private residence. The volcanic rock dictates where stone was laid. Beautiful tribute to the strength of the scottish people.
